Nirmala Shiksha Bhawan High School Activities: 2025-2026

On 19th July the drawing competition was held for the students of class 1 to 3 ABCD based on the theme “The Environment and conservation”. The little ones gave expression to their imagination through various drawings by bringing awareness to care for the earth and its surroundings. On 22nd August, the following day, Rhyme and Recitation was organized for the little ones of L.K.G and U.K.G. The tiny tots were excited to be engaged in the competition. On 23rd August the KG 1 and KG 2 participated in storytelling. The students listened with keen interest as the participants narrated their stories with much clarity and expression. On 28th and 29th August Maths Olympiad was held from class 1 to 9 ABCD to test the mental capabilities of the students. Most of the students were excited to take part in it as it their favorite subject. On 12th September Hindi grammar competition was held for the students of 4 to 9ABCD to sharpen their grammar skills and understanding. On 13th September, Hindi Essay competition was held based on the theme “Aadar and Vishwa Bhandhutwa” for the classes 4-9 AB respectively to mark the ‘Hindi Diwas’. Simultaneously English Essay competition was organized for the classes of 4 to 9 English medium based on the theme “Respect and Gratitude” On 19th and 20th September Hindi and English speech competition was held for the classes of 6 to 10 of both the mediums based on the theme “Universal Brotherhood” to increase the awareness of unity and tolerance among the students who would be future citizens of India. On 10th and 11th October Solo song competition was being organized from classes 6 to 9 ABCD on the theme “Mother and Gratitude”. On 17th and 18th October Solo dance competition was organized for the students of 5 – 9ABCD to enhance their dancing skills and movements. On 14th November, the children were excited to celebrate their day. The teachers put up a short programme for the enjoyment of the children. In the beginning meaningful prayer service was conducted. All the children were given jalebi to mark their “Baal Diwas”. On 5th and 6th December Nirmala Shiksha Bhawan celebrated its “Diamond Jubilee” joyfully remembering the 60 years of blessings and dedicated service towards the students and people of Shahpur. Over the years, the NSB has shaped the lives countless students and continues its journey to do the same selfless service and commitment. On 5th thanksgiving mass was offered for the numerous blessings received over the years, on the following day the NSB depicted its journey through the light and sound called “the Saga of NSB continues”. It was a grand success and much enjoyed by the audience. Along with the jubilee celebrations the poor and the needy were given financial help and livelihood support to stand on their feet.

 22nd to 30th January 2026: Mary Ward week was celebrated with much enthusiasm and joy. Different classes of both the medium conducted meaningful prayer services every day. The life of Mary ward was depicted through skits and role plays. The teachers were given the opportunity to share the virtues of Mary Ward through their life experience. Apart from these many competitions like speech, songs, poems, fancy dress, and drawings were organized from K.G to class IX to highlight the theme of Mary Ward. The children were vibrant and eagerly took part in all.  26th January the Republic Day was celebrated with the sentiments of unity and patriotism. Students from class 5 to 9 took part in mass PT and march past according to their groups. The students put up a wonderful programme adding colors to festivities and promised to be responsible students who would vow their loyalty to one’s country.  On 28th February farewell was given to Sir Vishwanath our teacher along with Mr. Shivlagan our driver who served our Institution for so many years. The teachers and the students expressed their gratitude to them for their dedicated service to NSB. Sr. Nirmala the principal and Sr. Jyothirmayee the manager thanked and acknowledged their untiring contribution and commitment for the wellbeing of the students and the staff and the convent. The school put up a programme in honor of them. Thereafter lunch was served for all.  On 26th March during morning assembly the deserving and the best behaved students were given Mary Ward Award for their outstanding character and performance during the academic year in the presence of their parents. Many students from K.G to class 8 ABCD were given the prizes for excelling in each field. Thereafter, the students and the parents dispersed to their respective classes to get

On 29th March, the entire NSB family, rejoiced at the hundred percent result and congratulated the class X toppers who passed the exams with flying colours: Ankita Kumari (95.8), Akash Raj (94.2),Alok Kumar (94),Simran Kumari ( 93.4) and Priya kumari

(93). Sr.Nirmala expressed her gratitude towards the entire staff and the management for their diligence and commitment towards the students and the school.
